Information on visas for the Republic of Congo

Foreign nationals residing in the Beijing consular district (China and ten countries in East and Southeast Asia) who wish to travel to the Republic of Congo must obtain a visa from the Embassy.

The Beijing post provides consular services to Congolese citizens and visa applicants residing in eleven countries. Headquarters are in China; the other ten States fall under the same district.

Short-stay visa

For a short stay (tourism, business, family visit).

Expedited processing of your visa application within 48 hours.

Application procedure

  1. 1Fill out the visa application form.
  2. 2Compile the file with required documents.
  3. 3Submit the file at the Embassy.
  4. 4Pay the visa fees.
  5. 5Collect your passport with the visa affixed.

Required documents

  • Passport valid at least six (6) months after entry date.
  • Duly completed visa application form.
  • Two (2) recent ID photos.
  • Letter of invitation or hotel reservation.
  • Round-trip airline ticket.
  • Employment certificate or professional justification.

Processing time

Standard processing time is 5 to 10 business days. Express visa is processed within 48 hours.
