Consular identification document

The consular card is the identification document issued by the Embassy to Congolese citizens residing in the Beijing consular district. It is essential for carrying out consular procedures.

Procedure

  1. 1Appear in person at the Embassy.
  2. 2Fill out the consular card application form.
  3. 3Provide required documents (see below).
  4. 4The card is issued on the spot.

Required documents

  • Copy of your valid passport.
  • Two (2) recent ID photos (passport format).
  • Proof of residence in the country of residence (Beijing consular district).
  • Valid residence permit or visa.

Processing time

The consular card is issued the same day or within 48 hours.

Important note

The consular card is valid for two (2) years and must be renewed upon expiration. It is strictly personal and non-transferable.
