Our missions

Within the foreign policy led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Congolese Abroad, the Embassy provides State representation, citizen protection, consular services and cooperation with China.

Diplomatic representation

Represent the Republic of Congo before Chinese authorities and maintain bilateral diplomatic relations.

Citizen protection

Protect and assist Congolese citizens residing in or transiting through the Beijing consular district, in line with the ministry's mandate toward the diaspora.

Consular services

Issue identity and travel documents, authenticate documents, and provide civil status services.

Economic cooperation

Promote economic and trade exchanges and investments between Congo and China.

Cultural cooperation

Foster cultural, educational and scientific exchanges between the two countries.

Consular district

Countries under jurisdiction

The Beijing post provides consular services to Congolese citizens and visa applicants residing in eleven countries. Headquarters are in China; the other ten States fall under the same district.
