Internal organisation of the Embassy in Beijing
The Beijing Embassy is organised into services under the Ambassador’s authority. This outline shows who does what inside the mission — chancery, consular section, cooperation and administration.

Head of mission
Ambassador
Represents the Head of State, leads the mission, signs acts within their remit and steers political, economic and cultural cooperation with China.
Diplomacy
Diplomatic chancery
Follows bilateral political relations, official correspondence, protocol and coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Consulate
Consular section
Handles citizen files (NCC, passports, civil status, legalisations, assistance) and visa applications (NV) in the consular district.
Cooperation
Economic and trade cooperation
Supports economic exchanges, investment and contacts between Congolese and Chinese operators.
Culture and education
Cultural and educational cooperation
Promotes cultural, scientific and educational exchanges, and programmes for the diaspora and students.
Administration
Secretariat and administration
Ensures the mission runs smoothly: reception, records, logistics, communication and support to services.
